President Bola Tinubu has expressed grief over the death of Isa Gusau, media aide of Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum.
Mr Gusau was Zulum’s Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy until his death on Thursday evening in an Indian hospital.
In a statement by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu condoled with the Gusau family, his professional colleagues, government and people of Borno over the loss.
“The late Gusau was a diligent professional who was uncompromising on his virtuous principles,” he said.

Gusau was a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, UK; the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations; the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) UK; the International Public Relations Association, UK, and the African Public Relations Association.

Gusau was a Daily Trust employee before Vice President Kashim Shettima appointed him as a media aide while he was governor of Borno State.
Zulum took over from Shettima and reappointed Gusau as spokesman.
Gusau left behind two wives and three children.
