President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos following his trips to Paris, France and London, United Kingdom.
Tinubu arrived at the airport at exactly 5:05 pm.
He was received by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy Obafemi Hamzat, and National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu. Members of the Lagos APC’s governor’s advisory council among others were also present to welcome him.
The president will celebrate Eid-el-Kabir in Lagos.
Tinubu was in France for a summit organised by French President Emmanuel Macron. There, he assured investors and world leaders of Nigeria’s readiness to welcome investments following his reforms.

After the summit, he changed plans and went instead to London on a private visit.
The Presidency revealed that Tinubu cancelled his planned return to Abuja last Friday.
“Tinubu, who was initially scheduled to be back in Abuja on Saturday, will now proceed to London, United Kingdom, for a short private visit,” a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, Dele Alake, read.
