Popular gospel singer, Timi Dakolo and the lead pastor of Light Nation Church in Abuja, Femi Lazarus have settled their differences.
The duo recently engaged in a social media war after the singer tackled the cleric for slamming gospel artistes who charge to perform in the church when he charges fees for his school of ministry.
Reacting to the pastor’s allegation, Dakolo in an Instagram post wrote, “Sir, you are charging as low as 150 dollars per person for your school of ministry. Teaching and preaching Jesus. Probably having as many as 1000 students. Let’s do the math. You even have a premium and standard for God’s house?
“Are you not also selling the Gift and revelation freely given to you? Again let’s not keep shifting the goal post”
Responding to the query, Pastor Lazarus argued that he charges for his school of ministry because it is a school.

Following his comment, the singer replied saying gospel musicians charge for performances because they also have bills to pay.
However, while sharing a post on his Instagram page on Monday evening, Pastor Lazarus announced that he and Dakolo have settled their rift.
He hailed Dakolo for shouldering the burdens of other musicians, stressing that he has now understood the realness of the singer’s concerns.
Sharing a photo of himself, Dakolo and Pastor Iren, Lazarus wrote, “My brother Timi Dakolo is a music legend, give him his flowers. What a man! He genuinely carries the burdens of musicians.
“His concerns are real. I love you. Better structures will be built. Pain is real. From pulpits to the pew, the pain is real, but we will be fine.
“This generation will not have carryover of pain. Hosts will do better. Guests will do better. We will have a better nation together.”
