Timaya allegedly hit the car of a lady, and when she demanded that he takes responsibility, he allegedly zoomed off the scene, injuring her in the process
Singer, Timaya Inetimi, popularly known as Timaya, has been arrested for allegedly hitting a lady’s vehicle which caused her injuries and bolting out of the scene.
An Instagram user, Osinubi Omowunmi, had accused Timaya of hitting her sister’s car and when he was confronted, he also hit her, which caused the injuries that landed her in hospital.
Yesterday, the Instagram user posted on her page, @whyte_26, that: “These celebrities and how they behave. Timaya nearly killed my sister this morning. He hit her with his car and run at Ikate a few hours ago.

“He hit my sister’s car and she came down to ask him to look at what he did. This heartless human was asking for a number and she told him she would block him. Instead of @timayatimaya to do the needful, he hit my sister with his car and ran away,” she said.
This morning, the police visited Timaya in his home, which has been circulating in videos that showed the singer being escorted away by men in police uniform.
In another video, Timaya was explaining to the policemen while making gestures to the car parked outside the building.
Though the reason for the arrest has not been made known to the public, the videos emerged a day after the singer was accused of hitting the lady in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
