Arsenal legendary striker, Thierry Henry, has argued he didn’t reply to Virgil van Dijk’s text message because he didn’t know it was sent by the defender.
The Reds’ ace defender had accused the former Arsenal striker of snubbing him while speaking with CBS Sport after their 3-2 win over Villarreal in the Champions League semi finals.
After learning Thiery Henry was in the studio alongside other former EPL former players, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, the Dutchman said: “Titi? I texted him but he didn’t text me back. Titi, the legend.”

The host of the show, Kate Abdo then asked why the former Juventus striker and World Cup winner ignored the brilliant Dutch defender.
Responding, Henry said he didn’t know the text came from him, as he recently changed his phone number and lost a few phone numbers in the process.
“I actually don’t have his number anymore.
“So text me… I’ll go to someone else to get his number. I changed my number and when I put all my numbers on my new phone, he wasn’t there.” Henry replied.
