No condition on earth comes into negative effect without a discernible cause. The earth came into existence in an inviolate state. It is not mere happenstance that Ebola was brought into Nigeria from Sierra Leone and Liberia. We should all remember that Nigerian troops were sent to Sierra Leone and Liberia in response to the grief that struck those countries in the 1970s. Our soldiers certainly had private interests beyond the love that the involvement of the common will of Nigerians portended. Atrocities were wrought on citizens of those countries and nature counted it against us as a nation. We, of course, lost benefits as a people on account of those atrocities.

Countries of the world where status quo of culture and tradition were violently disrupted by alien culture and tradition are receiving massive earthquakes like Boko Haram. Before it, internecine rivalries that sent misery across borders in inexorable response to the short-sighted concept of belief systems that have taken root in error. United States (U.S.) is saved so far by her slow appreciation of freedoms. Nations that have survived with disrespect for freedom of will of each individual member are bound to suffer tremours of unimaginable proportions as the eternal law operates to find closures for wrong principles.
Congo manifested Ebola first because some nations found Congo fertile for satiating their greed for resources. It was temporarily contained at the time, but same greed has since been nourished by vast populations of humanity in the four winds to a new crescendo.
Love, which powered creation, is totally sacrificed at the altar of power and influence, which are transient variables that are not relevant for the mission of man in creation to preserve its contents and spread its wealth in love and care. No one should be in doubt about the advance of humanity into painful closure of the apparently long era of inappropriate use of earth resources for the purpose of ennobling humanity.
