The stretch to eternity
By Abraham E. Nwankwo
By spiritual dedication and harmony,
With the Almighty so high,
Under whatever details offered,
By a person’s own belief system,
Life and death become one continuous stretch.
An unmistakable pull leads to that point,
Of arrival at the intellectual plain of life.
When you begin to see yourself,
As part of the whole planetary logic,
And not an isolated organism;
When you begin to enjoy,
The experience of tying yourself,
To the universal harmony,
The fear of death begins to die.
For then you are overwhelmed,
By the immortality of the ultimate whole,
Of which you are only a part.
Your concern turns to ensuring,
Synchronism and equilibrium with the universal,
Rather than, fear of mortality of self.
And life a whole stretch to eternity becomes.
