Tribunal sacks Uba Sani, declares Kaduna guber election inconclusive

-

The Kaduna State Governorship Election Tribunal has declared the March 18 poll as inconclusive.

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Uba Sani, as winner of the keenly contested election with a lead margin of  about 10,000 votes.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ashiru Isa Kudan, challenged the declaration of Sani on grounds of alleged widescale rigging.

In a decision on Thursday, the Tribunal declared that the election was inconclusive, and ordered INEC to conduct fresh polls in seven wards  across four local governments.
