Terry Tha Rapman urged Highlife artistes to beware of Wizkid, adding that killing Afrobeats might be his next target

Veteran Nigerian rapper, Terry Terhemba Madaki, better known as Terry Tha Rapman has accused ace singer, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid of trying to kill Afrobeats genre after destroying rap music.
His comment comes after Wizkid warned his fans not to expect Afrobeats genre when listening to his new project, saying he is not an Afrobeats artiste.
He went on to urge fans of Afrobeats music not to download his new album, so that they don’t get disappointed when they listen to it.
Speaking via his Instagram page, he wrote: “Album done! See you soon b*tches!
“And abeg if you like Pakurumo Wizkid, don’t download this new album. In fact, delete me from your playlist and your life!
“If you like Afrobeats, don’t download my album. I’m not a f*cking Afrobeats artiste. I am not Afro anything.”

Reacting to the comment via his X handle, Terry Tha Rapman recalled that Wizkid “killed” rap when he stated that “rap is dead” and that he is now trying to destroy Afrobeats with his recent outburst.
He further urged Highlife artists to beware of the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner, adding that it might be his next target.
Terry Tha Rapman tweeted: “First rap, now Afrobeats. How many genres Wizkid wan kill? Highlife, run o!”
