A source explained that the vigilante member and one other person were on a motorcycle from Sabon-Gari to Kampani when the bandits attacked them, killed them and went away with their motorcycle.
Terrorists have struck again in Plateau State, killing about five passengers, including a vigilante member along the Sabon Gari-Kampani Road, Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.
According to reporting by the Daily Post, the affected passengers were killed by the terrorists who ambushed their vehicle.

A resident of Wase town, who sought anonymity, explained that a vigilante member and one other person were ambushed by the bandits, stressing that the remaining three were killed at a stop-and-search operation.
According to the source, 20 passengers were kidnapped in the incident when the bandits attacked the passengers.
He explained that the vigilante member and one other person were on a motorcycle from Sabon-Gari to Kampani when the bandits attacked them, killed them and went away with their motorcycle.
He added that, “later, when the villagers were returning after market hours, they were stopped and kidnapped. Three of them were killed.”
The Police Command in Jos is yet to make official confirmation of the incident
