Terrorists have struck another deadly blow on the Joint security task force in Sokoto, killing at least 17 operatives last Friday.
The terrorists were said to have attacked the base of the security agents in Sabon Birni local government area of Sokoto State.

A member of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Boza, confirmed to the BBC Hausa about the attack which claimed the lives of nine soldiers, three civil defence agents and five Mobile Police men. There are also an undisclosed number of security forces that are missing. There are reports that the terrorists may have abducted them.
The report also disclosed that the terrorists set ablaze two patrol vehicles belonging to the joint security forces and made away with one.
