Teni who went to pay homage to Gov Adeleke on his birthday, was, however, chastised by some of her fans for being disrespectful

Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni the Entertainer has caused a buzz on social media after a recent visit to Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
A video of the singer paying the Osun State governor a visit on his birthday recently made the rounds online.
In the clip which was shared on Instagram, Teni was seen dancing into the party area and showing off the governor’s signature moves.
Reacting to the gesture, Adeleke rose and danced toward the singer before holding her in a warm embrace as they exchanged pleasantries.

In another video, the ” Uyo Meyo” crooner was seen sharing a story of how the governor encouraged her to pursue music with the audience.
After the clips surfaced online, Netizens trooped to the comment section to hail the duo. However, there were a few others who chastised Teni for disrespecting the governor.
An IG user, thevc_store wrote: “Why Jandor dey squeeze face ?! Is it because of his 330 votes??”
Another internet user, denniseee_okay said: This man has a beautiful aura around him.”
lola___lagos’s profile picture added: “Am I not hearing right? Why is no one saying anything about Teni calling that man by name, “Demola”. You can’t say “uncle Demola”? Does this lady have no respect? Why is no one saying anything about this? Is “Demola” your mate??? Someone that is old enough to be your father, you are calling him “Demola”.”
Another netizen, flora_shaw said: “He takes pride in that his hand sign enh.”
