Tems in Toronto gig gets boost with Drake’s appearance, building on previous collabs

Drake showed up for Tems at the Toronto leg of her Born In The Wild tour at the weekend, to boost their professional relationship borne out of two previous collabs between the Canadian rapper and the Nigerian-British afrobeats songstress.
Factsheet reports her gigs have been “generating great reviews on various [Western] entertainment blogs and news sites.”
That encourages Tems to press on with the remaining 12 out of her 32 concerts, most of them in Europe and North America, in a world tour that helps clean up Nigeria’s image soiled by shameless criminal leaders who forge certificates, mercilessly defraud the treasury dry, and stash away public funds in their private bullion vans, forcing other citizens to scavenge for a living.
Videos emerged online showing the moment the camera flashed to Drake sitting in a VIP section during Naomi Sharon’s set at Tem’s concert held at History (a music venue) in Toronto.
Drake was seen nodding to the performance during her set, even as headliner Tems disclosed she had to brave through a cold to be at the show.
“I have a cold but we’re gonna dance this cold away,” she told fans.
She delivered an electrifying performance of a medley of songs from her debut album Born In The Wild and from her previous projects.
Tems and Drake have collaborated twice – first on his song Fountain and, then as guests on Future Wait 4 U which debuted top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
