A 16-year-old girl sexually abused allegedly by the Director of Optima Cancer Care Foundation who also is the husband of her aunt, Dr. Femi Olaleye, has testified before the Domestic Violence and Sexual Court.
Journalists and others having nothing to do with the trial were ordered out of the court following an application moved by the Director, Department of Public Prosecution (DPP), Dr Jide Martins, for the trial to be closed-door.
The teenager was brought into the court amid tight security, and wore a face mask to hide her identity.

Mrs Aderemi Fagbemi Olaleye, wife of the defendant, had on Monday narrated to the court how her husband allegedly defiled her 16-year-old niece who was brought into the family following the death of her parents.
At resumption of hearing before Justice Ramon Oshodi yesterday, the girl testified behind closed doors following an application made by the prosecuting counsel, Dr Martins.
The judge reduced the bail sum from N50 million to N40 million with two sureties in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till January 3 and 4, 2023
