Taylor Swift for the second time swallows a bug in London after first incident in Chicago

American song writer/singer Taylor Swift swallowed a bug (an insect) in London on Sunday night during the Wembley gig of her Eras world tour, the second time she engaged in the bizarre act, having previously done so in Chicago.
The Eras Tour will involve 152 shows across continents, and she still has 46 of them pending in Europe and North America lasting three hours each.
Swift, 34, did the London swallow while singing her hit ‘All Too Well’ then asked the audience to continue singing the lyrics.
”I swallowed a bug, can you sing? Is there any chance none of you saw that?” she said, laughing it off with a joke and captured by TitTok user @alexaelizabeth.
“This is going to happen again tonight. There’s so many bugs. There’s 1,000 of them,” Taylor added.
She did her best to continue belting out the tune but had to stop when she started coughing.
Enter Travis Kelce
Swift swallowing a bug was not the only unexpected guest in London, with her boyfriend (American) footballer Travis Kelce making an unannounced appearance.
Kelce joined her backup dancers to assist in a costume change during the performance.
The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winner carried Swift across the stage so she could change into her jacket and heels for her song I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.

Chart toppers and album sales
Last month, Swift’s 11th studio album The Tortured Poet’s Department topped the Billboard 200 album charts for a third week in a row, via Billboard.
The Daily Mail (UK) reports the album is the first to spend its first three weeks atop the album charts since Travis Scott’s Utopia debuted on top for four weeks in a row from August 12, 2023 to September 2, 2023.
It was Swift’s first album to spend its first three weeks on top of the charts since 2020’s Folklore.
All in all, The Tortured Poet’s Department is the sixth Swift album to reach #1 on the album charts of her 11 albums.
Fans scooped up 282,000 album equivalent units of The Tortured Poets Department in its third week of release, the week ending May 9.
The album sales were down 36% from the previous week and was Swift’s biggest third-week sales since 2022’s Midnights (299,000 in November 2022).
Album equivalent units are comprised of track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

Of TTPD’s third-week sales of 282,000, 229,500 are SEA, down 30% from last week, bringing the SEA total to 298.33 million on-demand official streams.
Traditional album sales equal 51,000, down 53%, with TEA adding another 1,500 units, down 43% from last week.
She also extends her record for weeks at #1 by a solo artist on the album charts to 72, ahead of Elvis Presley’s 67 weeks.
When the album debuted on April 19, it landed a whopping 14 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts.
