Supercomputer backs Arsenal for historic 14th league title

The Supercomputer also predicted that Chelsea, Man City, and reigning EPL champions, Liverpool, will finish in the top 4 positions.

A Supercomputer has predicted that north London giants, Arsenal, will win the English Premier League (EPL) for the first time since 2004. 

​Mikel Arteta and his men currently top the Premier League table ahead of the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

​However, as per a report by GIVEMESPORT, an Opta Supercomputer has forecast how EPL teams will be placed on the standings at the end of the 2025/2026 season.

​According to the prediction, Arsenal will win the Premier League, while Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool will finish 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively.

​The Gunners will lift the EPL trophy with 81 points; Manchester City will finish as runners-up with 72 points; and Chelsea are expected to finish in third position with 66 points, while Liverpool are predicted to secure the fourth place despite their current struggles.

​The Supercomputer went on to predict that Aston Villa and Brighton will complete the Premier League top six in that order.

​Manchester United are expected to finish in the top half of the Premier League table with 54 points, but only above Brentford in 10th place.

​Meanwhile, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have been tipped to finish above Man United in seventh and eighth positions, respectively.
