Super Falcons centre-back, Oluwatosin Demehin, has been honoured by a traditional ruler in Ondo State.
She was conffered with the traditional title of “Yeye Akeweje Ilaje” by His Royal Majesty, Oba Kayode Aiyetiwa, the Oba of Bariga.

The prestigious title is in recognition of the Galatasaray defender’s contributions to youth development in the community.
Demehin was part of the Super Falcons’ side that won Nigeria its 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco last month.

The 23-year-old Ondo State indigene featured in all of Super Falcons’ six fixtures at the competition.
Earlier in the week, the player was gifted N30m, and a house by Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Prior to this, President Bola Tinubu had.
given Dimehin a three-bedroom apartment and cash prizes of $100,000.
She was also conffered with national honour of Order of the Niger (OON).
