Two suicide bombers have attacked two different mosques in Damboa killing themselves, six others, and leaving one injured in the attack.
This comes two days after the Nigeria Army reopened the Dikwa-Mafa-Gamboru road in Borno State.
Officials said that the wounded had been taken to a nearby hospital, while efforts were on to clear the rubble.
In a related development, suspected Boko Haram terrorists on Thursday evening attacked Gaskeri village ahead of Dalori, killing three civilian vigilantes and looting foodstuffs.

The Nigerian troops and other security agencies have been mobilized to the area for adequate security.
