Many Spurs stars are reported to have contacted their former boss, Mauricio Pochettino over a possible return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the current manager, Antonio Conte publicly slammed them.
Spurs are said to have concluded plans to sack the Italian this week after he lambasted the club chiefs and his players following their 3-3 draw with Southampton in a Premier League fixture on Saturday.
The north London club had gone 3-1 up in the away fixture before they were pegged back by the hosts through Theo Walcott’s goal and a penalty in the dying minute.

Pochettino has been strongly linked to replace the former Italy national team boss and Sky Sports claims that Tottenham’s top stars have already asked the Argentine to return and that the coach is keen.
The report, however, suggested Pochettino will wait to assess all his options in the summer before making up his mind.
The 51-year-old Argentine departed from Paris Saint-Germain eight months ago but has not found a suitable job.
Spurs also contacted him to return to the club during his PSG spell, but his contract with the French giants meant that he could not discuss it.
However, it now appears his long-awaited return to Tottenham could be finally on the horizon.
