Sports Icon, Felix Idahosa bags Doctorate Degree for Leadership, Business in US University

Sports Philanthropist and Benin Kingdom Chieftain Dr. Felix Idahosa was recently honoured at Eminence Christian University with doctorate degree in Houston Texas in the United States of America for his Pedigree in leadership and business.

An elated business mongul received the award alongside other well meaning personalities who were also honoured for their achievement in leadership, Education, Business and philanthropy.

Chief Dr Idahosa who turned 66 in August, 2024 expressed gratitude to Eminence University, family, friends and well wishers for counting him worthy of the honour and proudly ushering him to receive the award.

According to one of his able friends an ex-International Friday Enoye, “Chief has done a lot for humanity in many areas of human endeavour. In scholarship, Charity, business plans, capacity-building in sports, coaching and targeting young and talented youth in AthIetics, football etc.”


Dr. Idahosa is many things to many people in the US and Nigeria, his love and dedication to Sports is overwhelming such that he still actively participates in the planning organization, and execution of many grassroots Sports programme.

Chief Idahosa is the Chairman of Eyoto Sports Academy that sponsors annual grassroots AthIetics and special sports for able and the physically challenged.


He’s also part of the Popular NIAA body of ex-athletes, that organises, spornsor AthIetics Championships for Secondary Schools in Nigeria from the US. And more.

Consequently, it is believed that this Doctorate award in recognition of his numerous achievement, would spur him on for more accomplishment.
