Nigerian rapper, Darlington Okoye, batter known as Speed Darlington, has warned Nigerian men to avoid marrying ladies from the South East of the country.
He gave the advice in a video message he shared via his social media page, where he urged eligible bachelors to avoid tying the knot with Igbo ladies, saying they “are not great for marriage.”
According to the controversial singer, Igbo ladies are “greedy, proud and promiscuous.”, they also have the tendencies of black American women, who are never satisfied with what you offer them.

Speaking in the now-viral clip, Speed Darlington said, “This message is for my brothers who are planning to marry. Listen to me, you are not more exposed than I am. My job makes me travel a lot. So, I think I’m very qualify to give this advice.
“Avoid Igbo girls, they’re not great for marriage. I am an Igbo guy and I am telling you about our girls. Avoid Igbo girls, they’re very greedy and unappreciative. They behave like black American women; nothing you give a black American lady is enough.
“Igbo women are also very proud unlike Yoruba and Hausa women. I wonder how someone is going to live with such a braggadocious woman. They’re the number one prostitutes in Nigeria. Most social media feminists are Igbo women.”
Curiously, his counsel is coming after he listed fluency in Igbo language as a criteria for him to marry a lady.
However, after his video made the rounds on social media, many Nigerians trooped to his comment section to berate him for pouring his frustrations on Igbo women.
