Former Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, has taken to his X handle to query why Bayo Onanuga, Reno Omokri, Daniel Bwala and Bashir Ahmad always launch attacks against Peter Obi as if he was the only opposition to President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential poll.
Dalung, a supporter of Obi who flew the flag of the Lzabour Party in the 2023 presidential election, wrote; ‘’I have been praying to God to reveal to me why @aonanuga1956, @renoomokri, @BwalaDaniel, @BashirAhmaad only chose to attack @PeterObi. Was he the only person who challenged @officialABAT in the 2023 elections? Or is there something they are trying to cover up? Something is amiss.”
Dalung’s comment follows serial attacks against Obi by the quartet on social media. More frontal are the attacks by Reno Omokri and Daniel Bwala. Both men supported former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 election. Atiku was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in that election. They have since dumped Atiku for Tinubu
