Slot and his players maintained top spot on the Premier League table after beating Chelsea 2-1 at the Anfield on Sunday

Liverpool boss, Arne Slot, has said he doubts the availability of Reds’ striker, Diogo Jota for his team’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) game on Wednesday.
The Reds maintained top spot on the Premier League table thanks to a 2-1 win over Chelsea at the Anfield on Sunday.
The victory, however, came at a cost as Jota was substituted on the half hour mark after limping off due to an injury.

Slot while giving an update on Diogo Jota’s injury, said the 27-year-old is a doubt for this week’s Champions League clash away to Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig.
He said: “Diogo had to be substituted and I am not sure what it is, but I’d be surprised if he is there on Wednesday.”
Diego Jota has scored four goals in all competitions this season and it remains to be seen if he will be available for Liverpool’s trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal next Sunday.
