Singer, TI Blaze allegedly arrested, beaten by police

TI Blaze raise alarm two weeks ago that his manager and road manager were whisked away after NDLEA operatives broking into his apartment

Nigerian singer, Akintunde Abiodun professionally known by his stage name TI Blaze has been allegedly arrested and beaten up by the Nigerian police.

A male voice was heard in a video posted on social media to corroborate the story, saying that the singer who recently got a hit single featuring Olamide was harassed repeatedly by the police officers

The man who also shared the plate number of the vehicle used by the police, before alleging the rapper was also manhandled by the police officers.

The 22-year-old singer later took to his Instagram Stories where he alleged that the police threatened to kill him.

“Police tell me say if to say na bush side they will spray everybody. This country is gone,” he wrote.

It is not clear if the singer has been released by the police.

Two weeks ago, TI blaze, took to Instagram to raise the alarm that his manager and road manager were whisked away after The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) operatives broke into his Lagos apartment very early on Sunday, 3rd April.

The singer further shared a video of his apartment in disarray while calling out to Nigerians to pray for his team.

NDLEA bumped into my apartment this morning and scattered everywhere. They say I sang about ‘Canadian loud’. They also arrested my manager and road manager. They took them away in their Hilux,” TI blaze wrote.  

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi later confirmed the arrest and stated that 2.7 kg of cannabis loud, 5.2 gms of methamphetamine, and 13 tablets of molly were recovered from them.
