Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. Simisola Bolatito Kosoko better known as Simi has said fellow musician, Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, deserves “flowers” despite his controversial nature.
Portable was on Monday, April 2 arraigned at an Ifo High Court on six counts bordering on assault by the Ogun State Police Command, after he was taken into custody on Friday following the expiration of a 72-hours ultimatum issued to him.
Delivering his ruling on the bail application made by his counsel, Magistrate A.S. Soneye said, his offences are bailable and granted him bail with a bail bond of N300,000.
The Magistrate also said the “Zazu” crooner must in addition to the amount, produce two sureties who must reside within the jurisdiction of the court.

The court also ruled that the defendant be transferred to the Ilaro Correctional Centre, pending the time his bail requirements are perfected.
However, upon meeting bail conditions, the singer was eventually allowed to go home, and his return home made fans happy.
Following his release from the prison, Portable dropped a new song titled “Federal Government Liability”, where he bragged that he didn’t wear prison uniform while at the correctional centre.
His new song elicited mixed reactions, but one of those who took to social media to praise Portable’s resilience after the song was his colleague, Simi, who said he deserves accolades.
She tweeted, “Gotta give Portable his flowers lol.”
