Siasia keeps mum despite links to Nigerian, South African clubs

Siasia was hit with a life ban from  football in 2019 but the verdict was later reduced to 5 years after a successful appeal

Former Super Eagles head coach, Samson Siasia has kept tight lips on his next move after serving out a ban imposed on him by the Federation of International Football Association, (FIFA).

The 57-year-old was hit with a life ban from all football-related activities in 2019 by the world football governing body over allegations of match-fixing.

It was, however, reduced to a five-year ban by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) after a successful appeal by Siasia.

After a lengthy absence from football. the former Nantes player is now free to return to football and get his coaching career back on track.

He was reportedly linked with a Nigeria National League, (NNL) side, Mighty Jets, the Super Eagles and some clubs in South Africa.

Reacting to the job offers, while speaking with DAILY POST on Monday, Siasia declined to confirm or debunk the reports.

According to him, he doesn’t want the ‘whole world’ to know about his next plans at the moment.

He said, “I should tell you what I’m trying to do right? So that you can tell the whole world?

“Oga abeg fine somebody else go follow talk.”
