Recall that at the Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association and those of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Shettima also represented Tinubu at the National Peace Accord.

Shettima is also representing Tinubu at the Voice of Woman Empowerment Foundation event.

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is also not at the ongoing event.

Among the presidential candidates physically present at the Voice of Woman Empowerment Foundation event are Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Prince Adewole Adebayo of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Abdulmalik Ado Ibrahim of Young Progressives Party (YPP), and Hamza Al-Mustapha of Action Alliance (AA).

“I am not running for 100 yards or 500 yards; I am running for presidency. I’m not competing for WWE Wrestling. If I go out there, they would say he is sick. I’m standing before you, do I look like a sick man?” Tinubu asked.
