Sheringham believes a defeat against Arsenal will mean no UCL football and Conte will have less money to spend on new players

Man United legend, Teddy Sheringham has said Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Antonio Conte could leave the club if they lose to their arch-rival, Arsenal on Thursday night.
This is because a loss to Arsenal would mean The Gunners have secured the last Champions League spot, as they will go 7points above Spurs who will have just 6 more points to play for.
Spurs can only finish in the Europa League places in this scenario and Sheringham fears the former Chelsea boss may leave if The Lillywhites cannot secure the last Champions League spot.
Arsenal currently occupy the 4th position and are four-point ahead of Antonio Conte’s men going into Thursday’s north London derby.

Conte signed an 18-month deal with Spurs, but his plans to strengthen the squad could hinge on whether they manage to play Champions League football next season.
But while Sheringham wants the former Inter Milan boss to stay, he fears the Italian could leave if Spurs lose on Thursday.
“If Conte is looking to stay for longer than his two-year period, then he needs more of his own players with a view to playing in the Champions League,” Sheringham told 8Xbet.
“If things go to plan, then he should get more transfer funds and build.
“Would I understand if he left without Champions League football? He is a man who wants to do business straight away. He wants to be playing at the top level in big games.
“…That is why it is in Tottenham’s and Conte’s best interests to get into the Champions League.”
