Taking to his social media page after the upward review, Sani, attributed the development to the value of the Naira, saying as the nation’s currency continues to lose its value, the price of fuel will continue to rise.

In the now-viral post, the former lawmaker said only a miracle can solve the current reality.

He tweeted: “Petroleum is imported with foreign currency. If the value of the foreign currency goes up, the price of petrol will go up, especially now with the removal of subsidy.

“This is the energy and economic reality we have to live with, until manna comes or miracle happens”.

In her words, deceitful politicians that swallow public resources while asking poor citizens to ‘sacrifice’ will soon come to judgement.

Taking to her verified Twitter handle, she wrote: “Our people in Africa say, “No matter how long it takes, the stammerer does eventually pronounce his surname.

“Someday, a ‘Daniel’ will come to judgement no matter the shenanigans and stunts of these wily genre of politicians that swallow public resources while asking poor citizens to sacrifice”.
