Human rights activist and former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani, on Monday predicted that United States President-elect, Donald Trump will not be loved and would face resistance from allies and foes.
He made this known in a post he shared on his X page, where he labelled the former US president as a ‘disruptor.’

His comments come just hours before Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president of the U.S.
Speaking via his verified social media page, Shehu Sani predicted that Trump is going to be a great challenge to the world.

He further categorized the incoming US president as an American nationalist and businessman, who will attempt to take on the world.
He tweeted: “Mr. Trump takes over the American presidency today. A disruptor takes power. It’s going to be a great challenge to the world.
“It’s going to be an American nationalist and businessman vs. the world. He will pull the plug or change the plugs at the UN, EU, NATO, and the American relations with the world.
“He will be feared and not loved and will ultimately face resistance from both allies and foes. He will try to reset everything, and that is where the discomfort will come.
“Africa should not expect anything much from Trump, even though Biden didn’t do much either. Trump is back and, sadly, without Mugabe. The world must not give up or compromise its universal human values.”
