Human rights activist and former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has accused lawmakers from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Labour Party (LP) and other opposition parties of complacency and not living up to expectations of Nigerians in the National Assembly.
He made this known on Saturday in a post he shared via his X handle( formerly Twitter).
The former senator, seemingly accused the legislators of being passive in the Red and Blue chambers, adding that the opposition lawmakers are not visible.

He went on to note that only the ruling All Progressives Congress Party (APC) lawmakers are visible in the National Assembly.
Speaking via his verified social media page, Shehu Sani tweeted: “Ruling party lawmakers are visible in the National Assembly. Opposition Lawmakers are invisible in the National Assembly”.
Sani’s statement comes after the National Assembly passed National Anthem Bill 2024 amid reservations expressed by Nigerians.
The controversial bill was thereafter assented to on Wednesday, May 29 by President BolaTinubu.
