Shake up in NPA as Tin Can, Onne get new Port Managers, Okaga retains LPC

Management of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has embarked on a minor shake up of personnel as part of efforts to ensure port efficiency and productivity.

According to a memo seen from Assistant General Manager, Human Resources Operations Department of NPA, Mrs O.Dairo, dated December 27 2023 revealed that the acting Port Manager Tin Can Island Port Complex (TCIPC), Comrade Akin Leoso has been replaced by Mr. Egede Sylvester.

Egede, a former traffic manager for Lagos Ports Complex and Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) respectively, has been directed to assume duty with immediate effect.

Similarly, the memo further disclosed that the current Port Manager, Lagos Ports Complex (LPC), Mr. Charles Okaga and Abubakar A, Port Manager, Lekki Port remained in office unchanged .

Also, Port Managers for Delta Port, Mr Makanjuola T . A and his counterpart from Calabar Port, Mr. Olumati, I.F retained their respective positions.

Furthermore, Mr. Zhattau G. has been promoted as Port Manager Onne Port, Rivers State and Mrs Okezie K.E has been assigned Port Manager,Rivers Port.

Zhattau was the former traffic manager of Onne seaport before the new posting.

However, Mr. Adamu M, has been assigned as Technical Assistant Marine and Operations to the Managing Director
