Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti has insisted that the source of wealth of some of his colleagues in the Nigerian music industry is questionable.
He made this known during a recent Instagram Live session, where he argued that their enormous wealth could not have come from musical earnings.
Kuti also wondered how artistes with less than two hit songs are wealthier than him who has been touring for 20 years.
Speaking via his verified social media page, he said: “I have been touring for over 20 years, and I’m only just building my first house. Where is the music money coming from? Musician never get two songs, he don buy Lamborghini and G-wagon. Where’s this music money coming from?”
