Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti has questioned the notion that the United States of America is a safe heaven after he narrowly escaped a stray bullet in the country.
Sharing the terrifying encounter, he explained that the bullet unexpectedly pierced through the window of the hotel room he was staying in the U.S.
Kuti captured the frightening moments in a viral video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday evening.

While expressing shock and concern over the incident, the singer wondered if a country with such a vice should be called a civilized nation.
Speaking via his verified social media page Kuti said, “I read somewhere that these are the civilized people.
“Tell me you are in America without telling me you are in America. I am in my hotel room just chilling and boom this happened”..
