“We say here that the governor has done well to earn a second term but it’s not going to come easy. For instance, the group would work hard to make sure that voter apathy in Lagos was drastically educed.”

In a media chat the group led by Ambassador Philip Obuesi who is the CEO of SWEEP Foundation said Gov. Sanwo-Olu has worked hard to earn a second term in office.

According to him, the governor had improved Lagos on physical infrastructure, health care and General wellness of the people, especially women and children.

Obuesi however admitted that there are challenges the CSOs will have to surmount in order to effectively sell the governor to Lagos voters.

Other challenges include mobilising everyone at the grassroots level to come out and vote insisting that the CSOs have promised to work assiduously with security officials to ensure a peaceful election.

Over fourty groups in the waste management industry in Lagos were present at the endorsement party of Mr. Sanwo-Olu.

On why the Governor deserve a second term, Barrister Obuesi said, aside his humility in leadership, Governor Sanwo-Olu has made Lagos State a construction Site in physical infrastructure and waste disposal management in the state.
.
“Many waste dump sites have been opened and numerous trucks that would convey waste to dumpsites have been purchased, all these and more are geared towards making Lagos State a cleaner City.

Governor Sanwo-olu he said has also won awards as one of the best governors in the country.
He however wants the governor to tackle the menace of waste lands and the presence of miscreants in the State.

When re-elected, I would want the governor to tackle the issue of miscreants that usually sell people’s properties and as such drag good governance in the mud.

Part of the CSO’s endorsement package includes a rally in Lagos on Tuesday starting from Ikeja roundabout to government house at Alausa and massive mobilisation of people at the grassroots especially Youths for a successful re-election of Governor Sanwo-Olu
