Nigerian Music producer, Samklef has tasked Nollywood movie producers to get creative and stop promoting fetish lifestyles

Nigerian music producer and performing artist Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef had challenged Nollywood producers to get more creative and stop focusing on movies that promote fetish lifestyles.
The 36-year-old singer made this known via a tweet, where he also claimed that a lot of young Nigerians “are into ritual” because of what they see in Nollywood movies.
Samklef alleged that Nollywood movie producers promote “fetish stuff in all their movies” and advised them to have a rethink by getting better scripts, adding that movies must not be about “religion or juju” only.

He went on to contend that these kinds of movies that focus on how to get rich quickly through rituals are not limited to the Igbo and Yoruba movies but all Nollywood films.
He wrote, “These Igbo Nollywood, English, and Yoruba movies are the reason why a lot of young boys are doing rituals. They keep promoting fetish stuff in all their movies.
“Nigerian movie producers can do better. Everything must not be based on juju and religion.”
Incidents of ritual killings are on the rise in the country and young Nigerians are not left out, reports of young men getting involved in Yahoo Plus’ ‘ and using human parts, especially that of women for money rituals are rampant.
Samklef rose to prominence by producing several hit songs for musicians such as Wizkid, Sunny Neji, Ruggedman, Durella, Skales, D’Prince, and many others.
