It was learnt that he arrived from Nairobi Kenya around 10pm local time on Thursday.

He was immediately picked up by police officers of the command headquarters.

However, sharing a five-second video of the music promoted arriving at the airport on Thursday night, Tonto Dikeh alleged he was trying to sneak into the country.

She wrote: “Sam Larry being sneaked into Nigeria. Happening now. Welcome home, Sam Larry.”

Sam Larry, an ally of Azeez Fashola, a Nigerian singer and record label owner popularly known as Naira Marley, has been trending in social media since the news of the death of Mohbad broke.

Although he and Naira Marley have insisted on their innocence in the matter, many Nigerians and fans of the late singer have called for their arrest over the multiple face-off with Mohbad who parted ways with Marlian Records on a controversial note in 2022.
