Arsenal Boss, Mikel Arteta has once again assured fans that England Striker, Bukayo Saka will be ready for the north London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, January 15.
Saka was substituted during Arsenal’s FA Cup third-round game against Oxford United after picking up what looked like a slight knock as he came off the pitch for Emile Smith Rowe.
Mikel Arteta at the post-match conference of the game said that “Bukayo was fine” and that he wasn’t worried about the knock.
However, fans of the club have become agitated and have started asking questions after the striker wasn’t pictured in training at London Colney on Friday.

Reacting to a question about Saka’s fitness level during Friday’s press conference, Arteta reiterated that he thinks Bukayo will be fine for the game on Sunday, despite appearing to miss training.
The 21-year-old has scored six goals and provided six assists in the Premier League this season and his manager will be desperate to have the forward available for one of the Gunners’ biggest games of the season.
Arsenal defeated their north London rivals, Tottenham 3-1 in the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium on October 10, 2022.
Three goals from Thomas Partey in the 20th minute, Grabiel Jesus in the 49th minute and Granit Xhaka in the 67th minute sealed the encounter for the Gunners.
