SA rapper, Gigi Lamayne, says she’s in love with Burna Boy

Gigi Lamayne also said that despite how deeply she feels about the Grammy Award winner, he does not know that she has feelings for him

Popular South African rapper and TV host, Genesis Gabriella Tina Manney better known as Gigi Lamayne has professed her love for ace Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, a.k.a Burna Boy.

Gigi made this known when she took to social media to publicly declare her love for Burna Boy in a post shared on her Twitter handle.

The ‘Fufu’ crooner, in the now-viral post, noted that despite how she feels about the self-acclaimed African Giant, he does not know about her emotions.

She tweeted: “I’m so in love with @burnaboy, and he may never know this life thing, yooooo.”

Responding to her tweet, Burna Boy liked her post. On noticing the Nigerian had liked her post, Gigi Lamayne shared a screenshot of the tweet the singer liked. 

She then went on to claim she has now received confirmation that the ‘Last Last’ crooner is aware of how much she loves him.

Gigi Lamayne’s interest in rapping began at the age of 16 and with assistance from Scratchbeats records, she released her first mixtape titled ‘El Principio’. 

In early 2015, she released her single ‘Ice Cream’ which became an instant success and topped the radio charts. She later featured Khuli Chana in the remix of the song. 

In February of 2019, her single ‘Bozza‘ featuring Kwesta was released and debuted at the summit of the Top 50 RAMS Chart.

She made her screen debut on Hair Jury as a presenter in April 2020, the show premiered on April 1 on the Soweto TV channel.
