Ruggedman also exchanged ‘Diss tracks’ with 9ice after the latter accused him of having an affair with his ex-wife, Toni Payne

Nigerian rapper, Michael Ugochukwu Steven, popularly known as Ruggedman, recently shared an experience he considered a little bizzard.
According to the veteran singer, despite introducing his colleague, Abolore Akande aka 9ice, to his ex-wife, Toni Payne, the singer didn’t invite him to their wedding.
Ruggedman made this known during a recent interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
In the words of the rap star, he got to know about their decision to walk down the aisle when Toni Payne called him to intimate him about their plans and opened up that 9ice instructed her not to invite him.

Addressing the saga during the chat, Ruggedman said: “I introduced 9ice to Toni Payne but 9ice didn’t invite me to his wedding with her.
“One Saturday morning, I woke up to a call from Toni Payne. She was like, ‘Ahn ahnn! Where are you now?’ I said, ‘Where am I what? I am at home.’ She said they were getting married that day. I asked her why didn’t she tell me and she said she wanted to but 9ice said she shouldn’t tell me.”
9ice and Toni Payne went their separate ways about 10 years ago, after many media outlets reported that the singer accused his then wife of having an extramarital affair with Ruggedman.
Even though Ruggedman vehemently denied the allegations, the drama led to the exchange of “Diss tracks” between the duo
The music stars, however, reportedly squashed their beef later after mending fences.
