Al-Nassr and Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has laid to rest the suggestions that he and Argentina star, Lionel Messi are not on good term due to their rivalry
This is as the former Manchester United star sent a message to Messi after the Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi Arabia’s All-stars’ friendly game on Thursday.
Ronaldo after the encounter, posted a photograph of himself embracing Lionel Messi with the message “old friends”.
Saudi Arabia All-Stars which consisted of Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal players recently faced French giant, PSG and both Messi and Ronaldo scored in the 9-goal thriller.
Ronaldo scored two late first-half goals after Messi opened the scoring in the third minute.

The match eventually ended 5-4 and it was Messi who came out on top in an end-to-end but highly entertaining game.
After the game, the 37-year-old took to social media to express his delight that he was back on the pitch and has started scoring goals.
He tweeted: “So happy to be back on the pitch, and on the score sheet!! And nice to see some old friends!”
The friendly was Ronaldo’s debut in Saudi football since signing for Al-Nassr.
