Rema shares moment PSG star, Hakimi gave him his jersey

Rema who recently celebrated the Moroccan footballer on social media also posted a picture of him spreading Hakimi’s jersey on his G-wagon

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema recently sent tongues wagging on social media after sharing a video of him celebrating PSG full-back, Achraf Hakimi, after African representative, Morocco sent Portugal packing from the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. 

In the now-viral clip he posted on his Instagram page, Rema was seen exchanging pleasantries with Hakimi as the Moroccan defender handed him his PSG jersey.

The fast-rising Nigerian musician in the video described Hakimi as his big brother while urging him and his colleagues to keep striving for glory at the tournament in Qatar. 

Rema also shared a picture of Hakimi’s jersey spread on the hood of his new G-wagon SUV.

This is coming just days after Moroccan players were seen dancing to Burna Boy’s song ‘Last Last’ after they defeated Spain in the last 16 stages of this year’s World Cup. 

After the video surfaced on social media, Nigerians trooped to the comment section with some wondering why Rema showed so much respect to Hakimi but disrespected Davido.

An IG user identified as @kocolaw wrote: “Old video when Rema visited PSG stadium.” 

Another netizen @bill_cay said: “Rema Call Hakimi Big bro but he call Davido OG… this life avoid see finish oh.” 

Benbills007 added: “Why give him psg jersey tho,or is this an old video of them together.” 

Another internet user @topchild_ wrote: “That’s the kinda of love we need in africa right now.” 

While @temiaderogba said: “Rema Don mad, e dey call hakimi big bro and e dey call davido Gee… No be ment be that.”
