Regina’s brother, Sammy, granted bail
Samuel Ojegwu, also known as Sammy, the brother of popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been granted bail after spending several days in detention.
He was granted bail after the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police arrested him following a petition by Regina Daniels’ husband, Ned Nwoko.
Nwoko had accused him of threats, cyberbullying, and theft after a falling out with his sister, Regina Daniels.
Following his arraignment, a Dutse Magistrate Court remanded him to Keffi Prison on Thursday, November 6, before his transfer to Suleja Prison.
Sammy’s elder brother, Lawrence Ojeugwu, using the handle @Sweezzy1, confirmed the news on his Instagram story. “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
Activist MamaPee also confirmed Sammy’s bail, sharing a video of herself leaving the courtroom on her page.
