Reality star, Kiddwaya says dad discovered Banana Island

Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Terseer Kidd Waya, popularly known as Kiddwaya, has affirmed the claim that his father, Terry Waya, discovered the famous Banana Island in Lagos, Nigeria.

​The reality TV star made the assertion recently while featuring as a guest on the latest episode of the Off The Record podcast.

​It all started when the podcast host asked, “I heard that your dad discovered Banana Island. Is that correct?”

While responding to the question, Kiddwaya confirmed the claim, saying he only discovered his father had done so during one of his visits to him.

​He said, “Yeah, I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips.”

​Kiddwaya’s father, Terry Waya, is a Nigerian billionaire with investments in the real estate, agriculture, and hospitality industries.

​His son attained celebrity status in 2020 after participating in the “Lockdown” edition of the Big Brother Naija reality television show.
