Poised to wrestle Rivers United for the top spot, Rangers International of Enugu Coach, Imama Amakapabo, has revealed that the club would sign seven new players.
The Flying Antelopes held its first phase of player’s screening minutes after the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) transfer window became active on Monday.
It was gathered after the Coal City side’s morning session that some players were drilled by the club coaches’ assistants, as Amakapabo kept close watch on them.
He expressed optimism that the club will sign on quality players to strengthen the team for the second round of the season.
He said: “I need to sign on seven new players and Rangers will become a lot stronger in the second round.
Rangers failed to hold on to the NPFL top spot after they shared spoils with Heartland in an Oriental Derby game on matchday 18.
