Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) beat Arsenal 2-1 on Wednesday night in Paris to set up a Champions League final with Serie A side, Inter Milan.

The Ligue 1 champions came into the second leg of the semi-final tie with a 1-0 lead from the game at the Emirates last week.

Despite the Gunners’ quick start, it was
PSG who took the lead after Fabian Ruiz collected Thomas Partey’s headed clearance to flash a 20-yard finish past Arsenal keeper David Raya with the help of a slight deflection after 27 minutes.

In the thrilling encounter, Donnarumma produced a stunning save to deny Bukayo Saka, before Raya got in on the act by saving Vitinha’s poor spot-kick after Myles Lewis-Skelly was penalised for handball.

Luis Enrique’s men then ensured the tie was all but won, when Achraf Hakimi curled home a second goal in the second half.

Bukayo Saka pulled one back for Arsenal, but it was merely a consolation, as they were eliminated from the competition.

After winning both legs, PSG will now take on Inter Milan who beat Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate in the final on May 31 in Munich.
