How did you get to become a stylist or fashion consultant?
I attended a beauty school abroad, but I have always had the creative act of drawing, sketching and trying to make stuffs.
What does a stylist do?
A fashion stylist creatively selects and chooses what people wear (clothes and accessories) to at a particular time or to a specific event.
Is being a stylist financially rewarding?
When you work with people who appreciate creativity, it is really rewarding.
Are the ordinary Nigerians imbibing the use of stylists?
Yes, we have one stylist working behind the scene at every event these days.
Many people complain that it is expensive engaging stylists’ services.
Good things don’t come cheap.

You are also a fashion designer; what informs your designs?
The fabrics. I know specifically what I want to do with any fabric immediately I see it. I also travel a lot. So some international designs also inspire me.
Which do you prefer: being a fashion stylist or a fashion designer?
I prefer being a fashion designer because I draw my designs and outfits from scratch to finish.
What determines what you wear per time?
My mood.
A look into your wardrobe, what are we likely to find most?
Dresses, which I design myself, and other things I buy when I travel out.
What is the most expensive fashion item you own?
Bag.
What fashion trend won’t you be caught wearing?
Lace wigs.
Why?
I simply do not like it.
What fashion trend do you wish never came out?
Also, lace wigs too.
What’s your best fashion accessory?
My glasses and my red lipstick.
What fashion item won’t you leave home without?
My glasses.
What’s your best colour?
Black and gold. I love black so much.

I will still be involved in the beauty and fashion world one way or another.
