Tottenham Hotspur boss, Ange Postecoglou, has blamed his team’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Thursday night at Stamford Bridge to “not having the right mindset” during the encounter.
Goals from Nathaniel Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson in both halves ensured the Blues completed a Premier League double over their London rivals this season.
However, the result put a dent on Spurs’ hopes of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next season’s Champions League, as they remain 7 points behind Aston Villa in 4th with four games to play.
Chelsea on the other hand, boosted their European football aspirations next season after moving within three points of Man United in 5th.

Speaking after the loss, Postecoglou said: “It wasn’t a great night. We didn’t have the mindset that I expect us to have, so that’s on me, I’ve got to take responsibility for that.
“Ultimately I’m the one that’s putting them out there and preparing them for it.
