Portable brags to win Grammy without Davido’s help, alleges sabotage

Portable has boasted of his confidence to win a Grammy without help from colleague Davido after their feud broke out this week, despite Portable saying earlier he had resisted provocation from others to take on Davido.
The hard man and street musician some days ago alleged the DMW boss gave him bad advice in the United States on a record label to join, and Davido reacted by unfollowing him on Instagram, even though the duo initially claimed to have had a great time together during their recent visit to Yankee Country.
Portable claimed Davido, who signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and urged him to sign with Empire instead.
The ‘Zazu’ singer alleged foul play, lamenting that as he is also aiming for a Grammy like Davido, the DMW boss advised him to join a label that may not facilitate realisation of his dream.
Davido unfollowed him on Instagram on Thursday. The hard man fired back that he does not even need Davido’s followership or assistance to be a successful artiste or to win a Grammy.
“They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy,” Portable said in a video message on Instagram.
