Portable arrives on stage in coffin at concert, fans react

Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable has got netizens talking on social media once again after his latest move at a recent concert.  

The “Zazu” crooner known for his controversial lifestyle stirred up a new one at a show which took place at the New African Shrine on Wednesday, December 28.

A video from the event, which found its way online, revealed the moment Portable entered a coffin which was then carried to the stage where he came out to begin his performance. 

Apart from this, the singer also showed off his dance moves on stage and delivered an energetic display, as he thrilled the audience with his hit tracks.

Okikiola was joined by other upcoming artists at his concert, one of which was Candy Bleakz who performed alongside Portable at the highly entertaining show.  

Netizens after seeing the video of the singer’s arrival on stage in a coffin, trooped to the comment section of the post, as some expressed their disapproval of the singer’s action.

A netizen identified on IG as churchill_777 wrote: “Before olamide will sign any artiste, they must bring doctor’s report.” 

Another internet user, blesseddbarber_ said: “This is beyond concert don’t you guys know… but you guys thought it was a concept right…. this guys was trying to redeem his lives and doing some spiritual transactions in order for no one to be able to get him… this is beyond ordinary. Wake up guys.” 

Mide_fwesh added: “Is portable unfortunate?? This is way too much.” 

While vv_348 wrote: “In all his way of trying to be creative, i reject coffin for him and he’ll not be carried in a coffin until he’s old enough. Amen.”
